Carlito H. Young
Carlito H. Young is an attorney in the Litigation Defense and Labor Practice Groups of the firm. He specializes in representing government clients in First Amendment issues, police matters, employment cases, insurance coverage, personal injury cases and wrongul death cases. Mr. Young also conducted several pre-lawsuit investigations on behalf of the firm's municipal and insurance clients regarding employment, gross negligence and wrongful death issues. He also served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Harper Woods, where he prosecuted misdemeanor cases in the District Court.
Mr. Young also specializes in numerous issues involving the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). He not only represents several municipal clients regarding FOIA, but conducts several FOIA seminars each year across the state.
